Quick Summary

The ViewFinity S6 LS27F610EA is Samsung's 27-inch QHD monitor for people who spend long hours at a desk and want a comfortable, adjustable screen. The IPS panel with a 100 Hz refresh rate gives a sharper and smoother picture than a standard Full HD office monitor, and the fully adjustable stand is a rare plus at this price. The compromises are the lack of USB-C, speakers and adaptive sync. At around Rs 14,999 on Flipkart today, it is a practical and well-rounded work monitor with a three-year warranty.

Available Variants

This product has one version in India: the 27-inch QHD model in black. It is sold with a three-year manufacturer warranty.

Design & Build Quality

The monitor is a flat, black office panel with a clean, understated look. It will not stand out on a desk, which is what most workplaces and home studies want. A claimed 35 percent of the plastic used is recycled, a small but welcome environmental touch.

The standout feature is the stand. It adjusts for height, tilts, swivels and even pivots into portrait mode. Most monitors at this price offer only a tilt, so this one is a real ergonomic advantage. You can raise the screen to eye level, turn it to share your work with a colleague, or rotate it vertically for coding, long documents or web pages.

The monitor weighs around 5.4 kg with the stand, so it feels solid on the desk, and it drops to about 3.6 kg without the stand if you prefer to wall mount it using the standard 100 by 100 mm pattern.

Display Quality

The 2560 by 1440 QHD resolution is the sweet spot for a 27-inch screen. Text is noticeably crisper than on a Full HD panel of the same size, and you get more room for windows, spreadsheets and timelines without the scaling headaches that come with 4K. It is also easier on a mid-range graphics card or an older laptop.

The IPS panel keeps colours and brightness consistent from wide angles, so the picture does not wash out if you sit off-centre or share the screen. Coverage of 99 percent of sRGB makes it a good fit for web content, photo editing for social media and everyday colour-aware work. It does not target wider professional colour spaces.

At 300 nits of typical brightness, the screen is comfortable in a normal Indian room, including daytime use with curtains partly open. It is not built for very bright rooms or for striking HDR content, and it does not list HDR support, which is typical for a work monitor.

The 100 Hz refresh rate is a quiet upgrade over the usual 60 Hz. Scrolling, dragging windows and moving the cursor all feel smoother. It is not a gaming-grade rate, and the monitor has no adaptive sync, but for work, video and casual games it is more than adequate.

Connectivity & Ports

The monitor offers two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort, plus a headphone jack. Two HDMI inputs make it easy to connect a desktop and a laptop or a streaming box at the same time, and the Auto Source Switch feature helps the monitor pick the active input.

There is no USB-C port and no USB hub. If your laptop charges and outputs video over a single USB-C cable, you will need an adapter or a dock. There are also no built-in speakers, so you will rely on your computer, headphones or external speakers for audio.

Eye Comfort & Everyday Features

Samsung includes flicker-free technology and an Eye Saver Mode that reduces blue light, and the listing describes the eye-comfort features as TÜV certified. For anyone working long shifts, these are useful background features that cut fatigue without getting in your way.

Off Timer Plus switches the monitor off after a set time, and Eco Saving Plus helps reduce power use. The monitor is Windows 11 certified. A Game Mode is available for casual gaming, although this is a work-first monitor and not a gaming display.

Features Assessment

The feature list is practical and focused. The full-range stand, QHD sharpness, flicker-free eye care and two HDMI ports address the daily needs of an office or study user directly. There is nothing flashy here, and that is a strength, because you spend your money on the parts you actually touch every day.

What it leaves out is also clear: no USB-C, no hub, no speakers, no adaptive sync and no stated HDR. If you need any of those, other models serve you better. If not, the focus on ergonomics and picture quality makes good sense.

Ease of Use

Setup is simple. The box includes the monitor, a power cable, an HDMI cable and a user manual, so you can connect a desktop or laptop straight away. The stand adjusts smoothly in several directions, which makes it quick to find a comfortable position.

The settings menu covers brightness, Eye Saver Mode and input selection.

Value for Money

The monitor is available at around Rs 14,999 on Flipkart at the time of writing, sold by a main Flipkart seller and in stock. For a 27-inch QHD IPS monitor with a height-adjustable stand, two HDMI ports and a three-year warranty, that is a strong package. The stand alone is a feature that many monitors at this price or higher leave out.

The value changes if you need USB-C or built-in speakers, because you will need to look at other models or buy accessories. If a clean, adjustable and sharp work monitor is the goal, this model gives you good value.

Who Should Buy It?

Office workers, students, programmers, writers, accountants and anyone who spends hours at a desk will appreciate the QHD sharpness, the adjustable stand and the eye-comfort features. It is a good choice for a home office where one monitor has to do everything from video calls to documents to spreadsheets.

Who Should Consider Alternatives?

Laptop users who want one-cable charging and video should consider a USB-C monitor. Gamers who want adaptive sync and higher refresh rates should look at gaming monitors. Anyone who wants built-in speakers or HDR content should check models that include them. Colour professionals who work with wide gamut printing or cinema colour spaces need a dedicated creator display.

Editorial Verdict

The ViewFinity S6 LS27F610EA is a smart, practical work monitor. Its biggest strengths are the sharp 27-inch QHD picture, the smooth 100 Hz refresh rate and the fully adjustable stand, which lets you set height, tilt, swivel and portrait rotation without buying a separate arm. Two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort and flicker-free eye care round out a package built for long working days, and the three-year warranty adds confidence. The compromises are plain: no USB-C, no hub, no speakers, no adaptive sync, and brightness that suits ordinary rooms and not HDR content. Over two or three years of ownership, a monitor like this should stay dependable and comfortable, because the features that matter most, the panel and the stand, are the ones that age well. It is the right choice for office workers, students, programmers and home-office users who want an ergonomic, sharp display at a sensible price, and the wrong choice for gamers or laptop users who need single-cable charging. The overall rating reflects strong ergonomics and value with a few missing conveniences.
