Quick Summary

The ColorFit Ultra 3 Luminary is Noise's attempt to make a budget smartwatch feel a little more personal. Its big idea is a notification light that can be set to glow for up to five chosen apps, so you can tell who is calling you without lifting your wrist. Around that sit a large 1.96-inch AMOLED screen, Bluetooth calling and a seven-day battery claim. It is a feature-packed watch with a few honest limits, sold in the entry price band.

Design & Build Quality

The Luminary goes for a more grown-up look than most watches in its price range. The case is metal, and the dial has a metallic finish with a working crown on the side, which gives it a classic-watch feel instead of the usual plastic slab. The 22 mm strap fits standard straps, so you can swap in your own when the stock one gets tired. Six colours are on offer, from Jet Black and Silver Grey to Olive Green and Vintage Brown, and the range is sold with leather, silicone and metal straps. The IP68 rating means it handles sweat, rain and a splash at the basin without trouble, but this is not a watch for the swimming pool or for diving.

Display

A 1.96-inch AMOLED panel is the strongest part of the package. At this size the text of messages and the watch faces look generous, and AMOLED gives deep blacks that make the always-on mode easy on the eye. The resolution is enough to keep icons and fonts crisp at arm's length. With more than 100 cloud-based watch faces to choose from, it is easy to find a layout that suits your taste, whether you want a clean analogue dial or a data-heavy fitness face.

Calling and Notifications

Bluetooth calling lets you take a call from the wrist, which is handy when the phone is in a bag or charging across the room. The headline Lumilert feature adds a small light signal for up to five apps you pick, and Lumiping lets you send a quick emoji reply. These are more useful than they sound, especially in meetings or on a noisy street. Standard basics such as caller name display, call rejection, weather, reminders, alarm and stopwatch are all in place, and the Do Not Disturb mode keeps the watch quiet when you need it to be.

Health & Fitness Tracking

The watch covers the usual wellness basics: heart rate, SpO2, sleep, stress, steps and a female cycle tracker, all viewed through the NoiseFit app. Heart rate is read every five minutes in the continuous mode, which is fine for trends but not for fast-changing workouts. Noise itself positions the watch for general wellness and not for medical use, and that is the right way to think about it. Treat the numbers as a guide to your habits, not as a diagnosis.

Battery Life & Charging

Noise claims up to seven days of typical use and about a month of standby. With an AMOLED screen, an always-on option and Bluetooth calling, expect to land lower than the headline if you use the display heavily, but a few days between charges is realistic. A full charge takes up to two hours, which is slightly slow, though not a problem if you top up overnight.

Features Assessment

The feature mix is sensible for the price: good screen, calling, health basics and a standout notification light. What it does not try to be is a sports watch. There is no cellular connectivity, and the sports side relies on the phone and app instead of dedicated training tools. For most buyers who want a stylish watch that handles calls and notifications, that is an acceptable trade.

Ease of Use

Setup runs through the NoiseFit app, which works with Android 9 and above and iOS 17 and above. The crown makes scrolling through menus easier than on touch-only budget watches, and notification alerts are simple to configure. Most people should be up and running within a few minutes of unboxing.

Value for Money

The watch is priced at about ₹2,799 on Noise's own store, Amazon.in and Flipkart, against a list price that is much higher. At that price, the combination of a large AMOLED screen, metal case, calling and the notification light is hard to beat among entry-level watches. It becomes harder to justify if the price drifts toward the higher end of its range.

Who Should Buy It?

Anyone who wants a good-looking, feature-rich daily watch on a tight budget will like it. It suits office users who need discreet notification alerts, college students who want calling on the wrist, and first-time smartwatch buyers who care more about screen quality and style than about serious fitness data.

Who Should Consider Alternatives?

Swimmers and divers should look at watches with a higher water-resistance rating. Serious runners and cyclists who want built-in tracking and training analysis will be better served by a dedicated sports watch, and anyone who wants calls without a phone nearby should look for an LTE model.

Editorial Verdict

The ColorFit Ultra 3 Luminary is a confident budget smartwatch that gets the important things right. The 1.96-inch AMOLED screen is vivid and generous, the metal case and working crown give it a more premium feel than most rivals, and Bluetooth calling works from the wrist. The notification light is a genuinely useful idea that sets it apart from other watches in this segment, because it lets you recognise an important alert without even reading the screen. Battery life of around a week is a reasonable claim for the screen size, and charging is simple. The limits are clear and fair for the segment: it is for everyday wellness tracking and not for medical use, the heart rate sensor reads at intervals instead of continuously, there is no cellular option, and the water resistance suits sweat and rain but not the pool. If your expectations match what the watch actually offers, there is very little to complain about. It is a polished, stylish and well-rounded daily companion for people who value screen quality, calling and good notifications over serious sports features, and it earns a solid recommendation in its class.
